Maintenance Workshops

Regular Maintenance Workshops are a part of New School life and are one of the important ways that parental involvement makes The New School a special place. Pitching in together to make our surroundings wonderful for our students is rewarding for parents in many ways. By participating in workshops, New School parents have the opportunity to share experiences, contribute to the school in a tangible way, add to their child’s sense of pride, and demonstrate their commitment to their child and to the community in a manner that goes beyond words.

Workshops include some upkeep and improvements to the building and grounds, and generally take advantage of the skills and talents of our parents. They are organized by parent volunteers and occur about once a month. Check our calendar for the upcoming workshops.
